When choosing a Glacial Grain Spirits organic product, rest assured there is no use of GMO seeds, chemicals, fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides from the corn field to the processing plant.
We are the Land of 10,000 Lakes! We are rich in water and quality Midwest organic yellow corn- the two main ingredients that make up the finest spirits and alcohol on the market. We use a batch fermentation process and our alcohol is refined and purified using a proprietary distillation process. We even store the organic corn off-site until ready to use & have dedicated storage tanks to avoid risk of contamination. Our organic selection includes 190 proof, 200 proof and specially denatured alcohol.

Organic Specially denatured alcohol may be used in the manufacturing of any product that is not intended for consumption. Although the main ingredient in OSDA is ethyl alcohol, denatured alcohol is a blend of ethyl alcohol and additives that make it unfit for drinking. Generally, OSDA is used in cosmetic products but its’ use extends to pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing and products where OSDA is the solvent or reactant.
Our OSDA products can be used in industrial applications that demand the highest degree of purity. Without question, our OSDA meets rigorous quality standards including USP obligations. Industrial applications include solvents, vinegar, liquid soap, detergents lacquer, printing ink, antifreeze and adhesives.
The pharmaceutical and personal care industries also use OSDA because of their high purity standards and the need to have confidence in producing various drugs. Pharmaceutical applications include antibiotics, powders, vaccines, cleaning agents, chemical intermediates and blood fragmenting.
Like high proof alcohol, personal care items may also use organic specially denatured alcohol. These include antibacterial soap, toothpaste, astringent, hairspray, perfume and soft gels.
SDA is available in 190 or 200 proof and organic or non-organic.

GGS products are also certified Kosher by Orthodox Union.
Organic alcohols are available directly from our facility in railcar, bulk truck and tote quantities.
